Collaboration with SEM on Projects Involving Refugees
On 25 August 2024, the Security Studies and Rule of Law Association (SRL Swiss) submitted a letter to the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) expressing its willingness to contribute to projects and working groups concerning refugees, integration, public safety and the rule of law.
SRL Swiss highlighted the professional experience of its members in law enforcement, security and legal affairs, as well as their first-hand experience of displacement and refugee-related challenges. The Association emphasized that this combined professional and personal perspective could contribute to the development of effective and rights-based approaches to refugee integration and public safety.
